Have you heard of Minecraft?
Minecraft. I was stumbling (www.stumbleupon.com) and saw something about Minecraft, this game that at first looked like a really old, nerdy, cult-followed game. However, on thanksgiving break my friend 2econdglance2 told me about it. Its a Swedish (I think) game being developed in its alpha stage. if you buy the game, its like 13.37, it funds the developers and you get the beta and the finished game for free. However, if you buy later, it will cost more money. So its an investment. More to come with what the game actually is. but look it up

Battle Wounds
Day after my return to intramurals following a gruesome longboard injury to my ankle, I am feeling sore, yet alive. The feeling you get after a football, soccer, basketball, etcetera game is one of the best feelings for me. A good workout, a good game, and a good sore feeling the next day really make me feel alive and happy. I'm really fortunate that I can compete when some will never get the chance to.
Sports
How mad do you think Mike McCarthy is today? Three interceptions that would have locked up the game for the Packers were called back on flags. Not to mention the countless other flags being thrown on the field, it was yellow fever. PS Jay Cutler is a fat redneck.
Other notables: Melo is still thinking over the trade, Trent Edwards gets released, and Garrett Hartley is the biggest feast or famine kicker ever. Btw thats a 29 YARD FIELD GOAL he shanked.
Music
Weezy F Baby is back in the game, as if he ever really left. I Am Not A Human Being, Wayne's new Mixtape released a few tracks in the past few days and so far they are pretty nasty. C4 is still on track, but no word on I Can't Feel My Face or a Hot Boyz reunion.

New Lineup
Everyone loves a good trade. It can be as simple as sending Laurence Maroney to Broncos for some draft picks or something as crazy as a red paper clip for a farmhouse. But whether your on either end, you love the trade, at least at first. I've made some pretty interesting trades here recently and I'm hoping their a good choice. Trying to quit smoking cigarettes, trying to find someone worth more than a night of fun, and most importantly, trying to make a trade for a good weekend. Because whether you agree with me or not, we all want success right now, not tomorrow. So I am doin just that. I'm going to make a life choice to build a team for this year, not for the future. So kinda like the Vikings. But maybe a better quarterback, maybe ill make a trade....

Boom! Spamoni
First post in probably what? 4 months+? Anyways, the summer was turrrible and all i did was work, work, work, no matter what. But school has started up and class is in session for real.
Sports
So, I have a fantasy team and I lost my first matchup. Shonn Greene was the worst pick I made (except for Josh Cribbs, I mean c'mon CLE you pay the guy big kid money and he gets like 7 touches? Turrible) and I needed his points bad on Monday night. Rex Ryan has made it clear he isn't the feature back so I traded him and McNabb for DeSean Jackson. I needed recievers and his return prowess should help me too if goes yard. The Bengals lost, but TO and Esteban didnt look too bad. The defense is another story. Get it together Mike Zimmerman.
Frativities
Free Agency is in full swing and addition by subtraction is comin soon son.
Thats all. Class dismissed

Its been awhile, but its been good. Duke won the national championship and things are for the most part good. Its the end of the semester and I don't want to go home, yet at the same time I need a huge break from school. The school year has surely been just as grueling to us all, but I never thought it would get to me. I thought I was a lot stronger than I actually am. I feel bottled up, and it should be stuff I should be letting out to all those around me but I can't. And thats the worst part about it because the people around me should be the ones that I should be practicing catharsis with cuz they are my brothers, but the mask I wear is still stuck on. I figured maybe college would loosen that mask a little bit, but I think it might even be on a lot tighter than before. These high school "feelings" are creeping back into my skull and I hate it. They should be gone along with her. But they aren't.
I am happy, thats just the saddest lie.

The Madness is Upon Us
Sports
With March, brings March Madness. And this always is a great time for sports fans everywhere. I'm going to get into what I thought the seedings should have been, but I, and every other sports fan I'm sure, anxiously awaits Cinderella to show herself in the upcoming weeks. My bets? Georgia Tech.
Now along with March Madness I have one beef currently. The new fad, I guess you would say, is to wear a tight fitting jersey with overly large shorts. I'm not saying that it bothers me like the guys back in the day who hated on the Fab Five for wearing longer shorts. But it just doesn't look good, it just makes players look awkwardly dressed. I honestly like the tighter jerseys, no homo, but when they wear the huge parachute pant-esque shorts, it looks retarded. Trade it out for some better fitting shorts bros.
Entertainment
The Jersey Shore Season 2 is kicking off and its not in New Jersey. Its in Miami Beach. Kinda defeats the purpose. Awaiting the idiocracy that the Jersey Shore is to again show its ugly head, but I love it.
Music
Wayne's in jail :(
I'll letcha all out early. Enjoy the rest of your day/night.

Spring Break
Entertainment
Recently the Oscars were held and much to my surprise, the Hurt Locker actually beat out Avatar for Best Director and Best Picture, among its other wins at the Academy Awards. I thought the Hurt Locker should have won and was very surprised that it beat out Avatar based on how many people sucked Avatar's dick after seeing it. Yeah it looks badass with its visual effects but if you gave me 280 million dollars to film a movie I could bedazzle the shit out of everyday life, and if i put it in 3D and put a predictable storyline in it, i could make America forget Avatar and jump on this bandwagon. The only good part about Avatar is that i dont have to hear about Twilight for another few months. Speaking of Twilight, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are starring in a new movie based on the Runaways, a female proto-punk band in the 1970's. I dont know about you but im still getting used to Dakota Fanning as a teenager and now available. in a perfect world she would be 9 years old for the rest of her life playing a overly smart child in movies forever.
Sports
Ben Roethlistberger. Honestly. Get you get any dumber? You had one sexual assault investigation already within a year and now you have another coming up. Maybe you didnt do it. Maybe you did. But in the media its guilty till proven innocent. Especially now that this is the second time within a year. Putting yourself in that situation is like Michael Vick buying 20 pitbulls and taking them to his new house. Its gonna raise some red flags. Bottom line: this isnt 1974. you cant put yourself in that kind of situation. in this day and age everyone has a camera or videocamera and is going to put in the scene of the crime. especially that ur a celebrity, jackass.
Extra Credit
Spring Break is in full force, especially in Panama City, the dank of spring breaks. although i couldnt make the fesitivies in Panama, i am still in a paradise which will remain nameless.all i got to say is cherish the days. you never know when the could be taken away.
